Ingredients For garlic shrimp - spanish style

12 ozlarge or jumbo shrimp, peeled, cleaned and dried

pinchsea salt + 1/4 tsp white pepper

1/3 cspanish olive oil

4 - 5 clovegarlic, coarsely smashed

1/4 - 1/2 tspred pepper flakes

2 Tbspsherry
-
parsley, garnish, optional

3lemon wedge, optional
How To Make garlic shrimp - spanish style

1Season the prepared shrimp with salt and pepper on both sides and set aside until required.

2Heat a large pan over medium heat until hot and add the oil, garlic and red pepper flakes to the hot pan, fry until the garlic starts to get golden brown.

3Add the shrimp and fry until they are almost cooked ( 1 - 2 minutes) . Do not Overcook the shrimp.

4Add the sherry and parsley to the pan and toss together. Taste and re-season with salt and pepper if necessary. Serve with crusty bread.
