Ingredients For fried catfish appetizers

  • 2 lb
    catfish fillets
  • 6 Tbsp
    louisiana hot sauce
  • 6 Tbsp
    mustard
  • corn meal
  • 1 tsp
    tony chachere's cajun seasoning
  • FISH DIP
  • 1 pkg
    ranch dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 tsp
    louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 sm
    jar tartar sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk

How To Make fried catfish appetizers

    Fried Catfish Appetizers: Cut catfish into small thin pieces. Mix hot sauce with mustard, marinate fish for several hours, or overnight, then dredge in cornmeal mixed with Tony Chachere's cajun seasoning and fry in hot oil. Serve hot.

    Fish Dip: Mix all ingredients together. Let set for about one hour in refrigerator. This is good on fish, chips, and french fries.
