Cute cherry TOMATOES (not cherries) filled with crab. they're cut in half, stuffed, and put back together with a toothpick. Very cute indeed. (you can use white albacore tuna in place of the crab, if you like.) Really need a picture.

Ingredients For cute cherry/crab appetizers

30cherry tomatoes
- FOR FILLING:

1 pkgcream cheese, 3-oz, room temp

2 Tbspsour cream
-
2 tspdry sherry
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
2 tspcapers
-
1/2 tsppoppy seeds
-
1 cancrab meat (6-1/2 oz), drained and flaked, or fresh, if you can get it

30 sprigparsley for garnish (tiny), one per tomato)

How To Make cute cherry/crab appetizers

1Remove stems from washed tomatoes; cut off tops to make small caps, set aside, and scoop pulp from bottoms.

2In medium bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream and sherry; stir in remaining filling ingredients.

3Fill tomatoes with crab mixture. Stick toothpicks into centers of caps, and stick securely into filled tomatoes. Will hold several hours. *NOTE: if you'd like, when inserting toothpicks into tomatoes, add tiny sprig of parsley to tomato cap before toothpicking.

4Refrigerate till serving time.
