This recipe has a bit of hotness to it, but it will surely be a big hit at your party. Tiny salad shrimp can be used also in this recipe. If you don't like it hot, use your favorite horseradish and omit the hot sauce.

If you need the easiest party appetizer that's on the fancier side, try this spin on shrimp cocktail. The homemade cocktail sauce is a little spicy and slightly sweet. It's drizzled over cream cheese that's spread on a buttery cracker. When topped with the sweet shrimp, it's a wonderful combination of flavors.

  • 3 - 4 tsp
    hot horseradish
  • 1 - 2 tsp
    sweet relish, drained
  • 2 tsp

  • 2 - 3 dash
    Tabasco sauce or Louisiana hot sauce
  • 8 oz
    whipped Philadelphia Cream Cheese (with or without chives)

    cooked shrimp, rinsed, patted dry and tails cut off

  • Combine ketchup, horseradish, sweet relish, lemon juice, and hot sauce.
