Ingredients For crab filled french bread

1 loaf french bread, cut lengthwise into halves

8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

2 to 3 green onions

1 tbsp. butter, softened

2 tbsp. mayonnaise
-
lemon juice to taste

6 oz. crab meat

3 tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
How To Make crab filled french bread

1Preheat oven to 350. Remove a small portion of the bread center to create a shallow indentation in each half.

2Mix the cheddar cheese, green onions and butter in food processor bowl or blender jar. Process til blended. Spread mixture on bread halves.

3Mix the mayonnaise, lemon juice and cab meat in a bowl. Spread over the cheese mixture. Bake for 20 minutes or til bubbly. Sprinkle the cilantro over crab meat mixture. Cut into serving size pieces. Serve at once. Makes 6 servings.
