Ingredients For crab appetizers

  • 1/4 lb
    (1 stick) room temperature butter
  • 1 pkg
    (6 pack) english muffins (store brands works better than thomas's
  • 8 oz
    cheese wiz (can use hot cheese wiz for extra zip)
  • 1-2
    scallions - finely chopped
  • bay seasoning (to taste)
  • garlic powder (to taste)
  • onion powder (to taste)
  • 8 oz
    crab (refrigerator section - claw works) can use canned but only 6 ounces in can
  • paprika (to taste)

How To Make crab appetizers

  • 1
    Whip all ingredients together (except crab)

    Gently incorporate crab
  • 3
    Spread on top of split English muffins, sprinkle w/paprika (can freeze at this point).

    Bake on cookie sheet 20-25 minutes at 350.

    Cut into quarters - Bake for another 3 minutes.
