These are a tasty treat. I'm always asked for the recipe when I serve these!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

An easy and delicious crab appetizer. Cream cheese makes the filling creamy and gives it a little tang. Crabmeat gives the rolls a fresh seafood taste. Mixed together with green onions and celery, it makes the best filling. We love that these are prepared ahead of time. Saves you time the day of a party - simply slice them and put them on a platter before guests arrive.

Ingredients For crab appetillas

  • 5 lg
    burrito size tortillas
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese, softened (8 oz each)
  • 1/3 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 - 3 Tbsp
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    celery, minced
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 5 - 6 oz
    lump crab meat, shredded or chopped
  • (can substitute lump crab with artificial crab)

How To Make crab appetillas

  • Cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, celery, cheddar cheese, and crabmeat in a bowl.

    Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, and celery. Add the cheddar cheese and crabmeat. Mix well.
  • Crabmeat mixture spread on tortillas.

    Divide the mixture and spread evenly on the 5 tortillas. Tightly roll up each tortilla, and wrap rolls in plastic wrap.
  • Rolled tortillas in the fridge.

    Refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
  • Crab Appetillas cut into slices.

    To serve, trim ends and cut into 3/4 inch diagonal slices. These are awesome! Enjoy!!
