Ingredients For crab and shrimp appitizers

  • 1 stick
    butter or regular margerine
  • 1 can
    7 oz. can of tiny shrimp
  • 1 can
    6 oz. can of flaked crab meat
  • half c
    sharp cheddar or colby cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated onion or chives
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 8
    english muffins , split in half.
  • paprika and /or cayenne pepper

How To Make crab and shrimp appitizers

  • 1
    soften the butter and mix well together with the cheese. Add crab meat and shrimp, onion or chives, lemon. Stir up well.

    Cut each half of the muffin in fourths making nice little triangle shapes. Spread mixture on muffin. Sprinkle with cayenne and/or paprika.

    Place under the broiler for 5 minutes or so. take out and arrange on a serving plate.

    These freeze nicely before they are broiled. If frozen place in a hot oven (about 450), for about 5-10 min .
