Ingredients For poultry essentials: honey & hot-sauce glazed wings

- THE WINGS

1 lbchicken wings, about a dozen

1 Tbspgrapeseed oil
-
salt, kosher variety, to taste

black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
- THE GLAZE
-
3 Tbspfresh clover honey
-
1 Tbsphot sauce, i prefer frank’s

1 pinchcayenne pepper, or more to taste
How To Make poultry essentials: honey & hot-sauce glazed wings

1PREP/PREPARE

2You will need a baking sheet, with a fitted wire rack for this recipe.

3Gather your ingredients (mise en place).

4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 425f (220c)

5Add the grapeseed oil to a bowl, toss in the wings, and then add a bit of salt & pepper to taste.

6Place the wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, fitted with a wire rack.

7Bake until the wings are nice, and brown, and crispy, about 20 – 25 minutes.

8While the wings are baking combine the honey, the hot sauce, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

9Take the wings out of the oven, and brush on the glaze.

10Return to the oven for about 3 – 5 minutes.

12Serve while nice and hot with your favorite dipping sauce, or just eat them as is. Enjoy.
