Made this one for years even liver haters like it. My sister being one. When I was a medic in Atlanta and I would bring this for lunch there was a straw drawing to see who got to be my partner that day. All the guys liked it. Forget milkshakes my chopped liver brought all the boys to the yard.

Ingredients For its chopped liver

  • 1 lb
    chicken livers
  • 4
    chopped hard boiled eggs
  • 1
    onion chopped
  • 4 slice
    cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise

How To Make its chopped liver

  • 1
    Cook bacon remove from pan save grease
  • 2
    Add chicken liver to bacon grease and cook until done through
  • 3
    Mash livers in bowl with fork its ok to have a few small chunks
  • 4
    Add mayonnaise chopped onion, egg and crumbled bacon to liver and mix well. If you like it a bit thinner you can add a bit more mayo

    Serve with your favorite crackers
