There is easy… there is peasy… and then there is easy peasy. These are a snap to put together, but don’t let the lack of ingredients fool you… Cooking these at a high temp brings out the flavor of the honey and tamari, as they caramelize on the wings. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients For easy peasy appetizer – sticky wings

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1/4 c
    tamari sauce
  • 1/4 c
    fresh clover honey
  • 1 1/2 lb
    chicken wings
  • sesame seeds for garnish

How To Make easy peasy appetizer – sticky wings

    PREP/PREPARE

    Gather your ingredients.
  • 3
    Add the tamari sauce and honey, to a small mixing bowl, and thoroughly combine.

    Add half the sauce to a bowl, or Ziploc bag, and add the chicken wings.

    Chefs Note: Reserve the remainder of the marinade.

    Allow the wings to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.

    Place a rack in the bottom position, and preheat the oven to 475f (245c).

    Add the wings to a rimmed baking sheet.
  • 9
    Chef’s Tip: A piece of aluminum foil on the bottom of the baking sheet will make cleanup a snap.

    Place the wings in the preheated oven and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they begin to brown.

    Remove from the oven, turn the wings over, and use some of the remaining marinade to brush the wings.

    Return to the oven for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, and then remove.

    Add to a plate, sprinkle with some sesame seeds, and serve with the reserved sauce. Enjoy.
