Chicken momos or Chicken dim sums is a favourite appetizer made from Chicken mince, all purpose flour and serve with tomato chutney.

Ingredients For chicken momos (dim sums)

  • 1 c
    chicken mince
  • 1 md
    chopped onion
  • 1 tsp
    garlic chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    chopped ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    dark soya sauce
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/3 tsp
    rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper powder
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green scallions
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    cooking oil
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make chicken momos (dim sums)

    Mix all purpose flour with salt and half of the cooking oil. Pour water slowly and make a semi stiff but palpable dough.

    Grease the dough with the remaining oil and cover. Rest for 10 minutes to set.

    Take Chicken mince in s mixing bowl and add the chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green scallions, black pepper powder, dark soya sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and salt

    Give everything a good mix. This is the fillings.

    Divide the dough into small size balls and roll into a circular shape of about 2 inch diameter.

    Take one circular dough and place a teaspoon spiced chicken mince in the centre.

    Bring the edges from one side and stat to pleat. After finishing close and seal to make the dumplings.

    Similarly make more momos 9r dim sums with different shapes of your choice.

    Take a wooden momo basket and place some cabbage leafs over it. Apply oil over the cabbage leafs and arrange the momos over it.

    Close the basket with the lid and place in a steamer and cook for 15 minutes or till done
