Many years ago, someone in the family collected recipes from descendants of my great grandparents, William M. and Florence E. (Snodgrass) Whaley and had them compiled into a cookbook. I am posting those recipes here so that they will not be lost. This recipe was submitted by Jerry Palmer.

Ingredients For taco dip

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/4 oz
    taco seasoning mix
  • 16 oz
    sour cream
  • 1/4
    head of lettuce
  • 1
    tomato, chopped
  • 1 pkg
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pkg
    tortilla chips

How To Make taco dip

  • 1
    Mix cream cheese, taco seasoning and sour cream until smooth.

    Spread mixture on pizza pan and chill.
  • 3
    Add tomato, shredded cheddar cheese and lettuce. Use chips to dip.
