Ingredients For sweet hushpuppies

  • 1
    egg
  • 1/3 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    self rising yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 c
    self rising flour
  • country crock cinnamon or honey butter

How To Make sweet hushpuppies

    Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees. Beat egg and sugar with a mixer-just enough to make sure it's mixed well.

    Add self rising cornmeal and flour. Mix well and form into small balls (about the size of a quarter).

    Deep fry until golden brown. Serve with cinnamon or honey butter.
