I have bought Hummus in the deli section of supermarket many times. This "homemade" variety is so much better. I prefer it with pita bread, whole wheat tortillas or served with crudites.

Ingredients For hummus

2 canchickpeas, rinsed & drained

1/4 ctahini sesame butter
-
1/2 cwater
-
3 Tbspolive oil

3 clovegarlic, minced

3 Tbspfresh lemon juice

1 tspsalt

1 Tbspcumin
How To Make hummus

1Place all ingredients into a food processor (or blender) and process until very smooth. If too thick for your taste, add a little more water.

2Refrigerate in air tight container for 7-10 days.
