Ingredients For guacamole roll ups

  • handful of toothpicks
  • 1 pkg. corn or flour tortillas
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 can green chiles, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 large ripe tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp. crushed pepper
  • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
  • you can add cooked ground beef or grilled chicken, chopped, if you wish

How To Make guacamole roll ups

    In large bowl, cut avocado in half, peel and remove pit. Use a fork to mash up avocado coarsely.

    Mix in remaining ingredients gently as to keep it chunky. Microwave tortillas for a few seconds till warm. This will make them easier to handle.

    Put the tortillas on flat surface; spread some of the guacamole mixture over half the tortillas shell. Add chopped chicken or ground beef if you like. Roll it up. Cut into 2 inch pieces. Use a toothpick to hold together. Arrange on long platter or individual mini bowls and serve with a small bowl of spicy salsa on the side. If you’re in a hurry, purchase guacamole from your local grocer.
