This was a recipe we got from a friend (Phyllis Chodan) in Scotland. It was very good! I asked for it right away, and was glad to find it in Barb's recipe box again!

How To Make florentine spinach loaf

12 loaves French bread, sliced along top. Scoop off a bit of soft crumbs. Fill with cheese mixture, wrap and seal in foil. Bake at 375 degrees, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Slice and serve warm.

2Cheese Mixture, Mix and chop in food processor: 16 oz philadelphia cream cheese 1 c mayo 10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese 1 med onion 8-10 slices smoked streaky bacon, fried crisp 1-2 t dill salt and pepper to taste
