My friend was an exchange student and found out about this method of making garlic bread from an Italian friend. It is sooo good and garlic-y! In a pinch, you can "grill" the bread in the oven, the broiler, or just toast in a toaster. On the grill is the best!

Ingredients For fett’unta - grilled garlic bread

  • 4 slice
    rustic italian or sourdough bread
  • 2 clove
    garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, excellent quality
  • flaky salt, to taste

How To Make fett’unta - grilled garlic bread

  • 1
    Grill slices of bread until slightly crispy and grill marks are visible.
  • 2
    Rub cut clove of garlic all over tops of toasted bread.
  • 3
    Drizzle each with olive oil and sprinkle with flakes of salt.
