We love fresh salsa, but I am not a fan of jarred salsa. I love the fresh bright flavors this salsa brings. Even non salsa lovers, love this . Sometimes in the summer I use fresh tomatoes out of the garden and it makes this salsa even better.. Yum

How To Make easy homemade salsa

  • 1
(**NOTE**) 1/2 jalapeno (seeds & stems removed, if you want it hotter add the entire jalapeño *note sometime I skip the rotel tomatoes and add the jalapeño & sometimes I skip the jalapeño and add the rotel depending on how spicy I want this I usually never do both In large food processor add onion, garlic, cilantro, the jalapeño (ONLY if using )and process until finely chopped (scrape down the sides of the container and process again to make sure all is finely chopped. Add tomatoes ( I drained the 3 cans of tomatoes but not the rotel) .Add lime juice, sugar (sprinkling over the tomatoes), add cumin & the salt & pepper and pinch of Lawrys. Pulse until tomatoes are diced.
