How To Make clayton totchos

  • 1
To make the totchos, preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Coat a 9-x-13 baking dish.
  • 2
Add tater tots and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy. Season the tots with ranch seasoning.
  • 3
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the oil and chicken strips and saute for 5 minutes.
  • 4
Slice the cooked chicken strips and add to a large bowl. Add crushed red pepper flakes and French dressing; mix well until blended.
  • 5
To make the monterey jack cheese sauce, melt the margarine in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Add the heavy cream, monterey jack, and cream cheese and whisk together until smooth and creamy.
  • 6
Top the prepared tater tots with the sauce, chicken strips mixture, sliced banana peppers, and shredded monterey jack cheese.
  • 7
Bake until warmed through and the cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.
