Ingredients For chicken salad sandwiches
- BUTTER-BASIL SPREAD:

3/4 cbutter

2 tsplemon juice

1/2 cfresh basil leaves or

2 Tbspdried basil
- CHICKEN FILLING:

1 cfinely chopped cooked chicken meat

1/2 cmayonnaise
-
salt and pepper to taste

20 slices bread, your choice
How To Make chicken salad sandwiches

1Combine the butter spread ingredients and set aside.

2Stir together the filling ingredients.

3Spread each slice of bread with a thin layer of the butter mixture. Spread the filling over half the bread slices and top with the other half, buttered sides in, of course.

4Remove the crusts and cut into quarters.
