Ingredients For chestnut hummus

  • 10 oz
    roasted chestnuts
  • 1/2 c
    tahini paste
  • 4 clove
    garlic
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 tsp
    each cumin & cardamom
  • 1/4 c
    extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make chestnut hummus

  • 1
    Place all ingredients together in food processor except for olive oil. Process drizzling in the olive oil. If too thick add more water. Taste and adjust for salt and pepper. Serve with pita chips
