1 lbor 4 oz can pitted tart cherries

1/2 csugar

few drops red food color
-
2 cprepared mincemeat

3 Tbspflour

1/2 tspsalt

1 egg, beaten
How To Make cherry mincemeat pie

1Drain cherries (you should have 2 cup).

2Combine cherries and the sugar.

3Let stand while you make pastry.

4Combine cherry mixture, food color, mincemeat, flour, salt and egg.

5Pour into a pastry lined pie pan.

6Top with a lattice crust.

7Bake in hot oven (425'F) to 40 minutes
