This is an easy appetizer good for any occasion. There are many different ways to do Deviled Eggs but this one happens to be a personal favorite!

Ingredients For a different twist to deviled eggs

  • 12
    eggs hard boiled
  • 4 Tbsp
    cottage cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    ranch dressing
  • 2 Tbsp
    regular or dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    chives or dill weed
  • 4 Tbsp
    sweet relish
  • paprika

How To Make a different twist to deviled eggs

  • 1
    Boil the eggs in a saucepan with enough water to cover the eggs. Boil for 15 minutes; drain and let the eggs cool in cold water. ( I usually put them in the freezer for 15 minutes ) Remove and discard the egg shells.

    Slice eggs lengthwise in half. Remove egg yolk reserving 4 yolks. Discard remaining yolks or use them for something else. Place egg whites cut sides up on a serving platter.

    In a medium bowl combine cottage cheese, ranch dressing, mustard, relish and the 4 egg yolks. Smash and mix with a fork until smooth. Stir in chives. Spoon the mixture into each egg white. Cover and chill 1 hour.

    Remove eggs before serving and sprinkle with Paprika.
