Ingredients For zesty liver pate

1/3 cbutter or margarine

1 lbchicken livers

3/4 ccoarsely chopped green onions

3/4 cchopped fresh parsley

1/2 cdry white wine

3/4 tsptabasco sauce

1/2 tspsalt

crackers or french bread
How To Make zesty liver pate

1Melt butter in large saucepan; add chicken livers, onions and parsley. Saute until livers are evenly browned and cooked through. Transfer to blender or food processor container. Add wine, tabasco sauce and salt; cover. Process until smooth. Pour into decorative crock-style jar with lid. Chill until thick enough to spread. Serve with crackers or French bread.
