This is different than the other Liver Sausage Spread that I posted. It uses 16 ounces of Liver Sausage (Braunschweiger) and 8 ounces cream cheese. With the use of electric beaters, it gets whipped into a light and creamy spread. This is so good that I can eat it with a spoon. LOL! But I do love my liver sausage.

Ingredients For whipped up liver sausage spread

  • 16 oz
    liver sausage (braunschweiger)
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    onion, finely minced
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make whipped up liver sausage spread

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Using an electric mixer beat until smooth. The mixture will become light and fluffy.

    Cover and refrigerate for several hours for the flavors to blend.

    Serve with your choice of crackers, or it's delicious on party rye. Or if you are like me, you can eat it with a spoon!
