Ingredients For tropical ham kabobs

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • pinch
    ground cloves
  • 3/4 lb
    cooked ham, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 can
    16 ounce pineapple chunks
  • 2
    medium bananas, cut into 1 inch slices

How To Make tropical ham kabobs

    Combine butter, lemon juice, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, ginger, and cloves in a 2 cup glass measure. Microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until butter is melted, stirring twice.

    Thread ham, pineapple and banana alternately on six 8 inch skewers. Arrange kabobs in a 10 inch round baking dish. Brush with butter sauce. Microwave on high for 7 1/2 minutes, or until heated through, turning the skewers and basting with remaining butter sauce after 3 minutes.
