Ingredients For toffee chicken wings

    chicken wings tips removed and separated
  • 2 c
    fava flour
  • 1 c
    buttermilk
  • oil for deep frying
  • 3 c
    dark brown sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    lime juice
  • 1/3 c
    fish sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 2 sm
    jalapeno peppers seeded and thinly sliced

How To Make toffee chicken wings

    Heat the oil to 375 degrees. Dip the chicken wings in the buttermilk then dredge in the fava flour. Deep fry in batches about 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels

    Place the remaining ingredients in a sauce pan on cook until thick, sticky and bubbly. Remove from heat. Pour over wings and stir to evenly coat.
