This Super Sandwich feeds approximately 10 people. Just remove from refrigerator and cut into slices and serve. This will keep up to one week in the refrigerator without becoming soggy. It works! Use for parties, snacks, lunches or any occasion. The meats and cheese may be substituted to your suit your personal choices as well as the veggies..just be sure everything is kept dry and chopped finely. This is a very attractive and colorful sandwich! The layers make a very nice presentation on your plate. I hope you enjoy it! It definitely is a keeper!

Ingredients For super sandwich

  • 1
    unsliced loaf of hawaiian bread, (sourdough, white or whole wheat can be used)
  • 1/2 lb
    fully cooked thin sliced ham
  • 1/2 lb
    thin sliced roast beef
  • 1/2 lb
    thin sliced turkey
  • 1/2 lb
    baby swiss cheese
  • 1/2 lb
    pepperjack cheese
  • VEGGIE MIX
  • 1 md
    cucumber (chopped fine)
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes (any type, drain and pat very dry)
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped
  • 1 sm
    can of black olives, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    italian salad dressing (tuscan is good)

How To Make super sandwich

    Bread - Cut the top off the Hawaiian bread approximately 1 inch thick. Set aside. Carefully hollow out the loaf leaving a 1/2 inch shell.

    Veggie Mix - In a bowl, combine the cucumbers, tomatoes, onion, olive and salad dressing. Set aside.

    Layers: Layer 1/3 of the meats, 1/3 of the cheeses, and 1/3 of the Veggie mixture. Repeat the layers until all is used up, (usually about three layers). Replace the bread top. Wrap the entire loaf with aluminum foil, (plastic wrap tends to come unwrapped).
