Ingredients For sausage cream cheese appetizer

  • 1 lb
    sausage, hot or mild, your preference
  • 2 can
    crescent rolls
  • 1
    egg white, slightly beaten
  • poppy seeds
  • 1 - 8oz pkg
    cream cheese

How To Make sausage cream cheese appetizer

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Brown sausage and drain well.
  • 3
    Mix sausage with cream cheese.
  • 4
    Unroll 1 can crescent rolls. Place in greased pan. Pressing seams together.

    Spread sausage cream cheese mixture onto dough, leaving enough space at edges to pinch together.

    Open 2nd can of crescent rolls, carefully place on top of sausage mixture, stretching to same size as bottom layer, pressing seams together,pinch together around edges together.

    You can also tear dough apart as if you were making crescent rolls, put sausage mixture on and roll as you normally would for individual rolls.

    Brush top layer with beaten egg white and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

    Bake for approximately 15 to 17 minutes, until golden brown.

    Cool completely, cut into serving sizes.
