Ingredients For sausage cream cheese appetizer

1 lbsausage, hot or mild, your preference

2 cancrescent rolls

1egg white, slightly beaten

poppy seeds

1 - 8oz pkgcream cheese
How To Make sausage cream cheese appetizer

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Brown sausage and drain well.

3Mix sausage with cream cheese.

4Unroll 1 can crescent rolls. Place in greased pan. Pressing seams together.

5Spread sausage cream cheese mixture onto dough, leaving enough space at edges to pinch together.

6Open 2nd can of crescent rolls, carefully place on top of sausage mixture, stretching to same size as bottom layer, pressing seams together,pinch together around edges together.

7You can also tear dough apart as if you were making crescent rolls, put sausage mixture on and roll as you normally would for individual rolls.

8Brush top layer with beaten egg white and sprinkle with poppy seeds.

9Bake for approximately 15 to 17 minutes, until golden brown.

10Cool completely, cut into serving sizes.
