Ingredients For sausage balls

  • 10 oz
    cheddar cheese
  • 3 c
    biscuit mix
  • 1
    onion, finely minced
  • 2 clove
    garlic cloves, pressed
  • 1/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 lb
    sausage
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    sage, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    thyme, dried

How To Make sausage balls

    In skillet over low heat, break up sausage meat and simmer with chicken broth, sage, onion, and minced garlic until sausage is done, stirring often(15-20 min.) Do not brown. Season to taste with salt, pepper, thyme, onion powder and garlic powder. Let cool 10 minutes.

    Combine all ingredients in large bowl. Roll into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased, foil lined cookie sheet and bake at 375 for 12 minutes or until golden or cooked through.
