These are so much better than the frozen egg rolls. Crunchy and delish.

Ingredients For pizza rolls

  • 16
    egg roll wrappers
  • 2 1/21/2 c
    pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    basil
  • 1/4 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 c
    fresh mushrooms chopped
  • 1/2 lb
    pepperoni chopped
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 lg
    egg beaten with 2 tbsp of water
  • 1 lg

  • 1 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 c

How To Make pizza rolls

    Add some oil to a skillet. Saute mushrooms until browned add the pork and cook until done. Mix the pizza sauce with the mushrooms, pork, pepperoni, basil, and garlic powder.

    Have a bowl of water for dipping fingers to moisten the edges of egg rolls. Lay out one egg roll wrapper. Place a about 3 tbsp filling in middle of egg roll. Add some mozzarella cheese on top. Moisten the edges with water and roll up folding sides in and sealing on the back. Repeat until all are done.

    Mix the egg with water in one dish and place the bread crumbs in another dish. Roll each egg roll in the egg wash then roll in panko. Repeat until all are done.

    Heat oil to 350 degrees. Deep fry in batches about 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with favorite sauce
