This was given to my by my good friend Dana who works here as a volunteer at the park. She brought me in some a short while ago and it was so good, I just had to have the recipe. I don't have a pict, but will take one next time I make this.

Ingredients For pickled bologna

1 mdbologna ring, get a good quality one

1 cvinegar, white is ok

2 cwater
-
2 Tbsppickling spice your own, or use this combo below

pickling spice combo:

2 mdbay leaves
-
1 tsppeppercorns
-
1/2 tspmustard seeds
-
1 tspminced garlic
-
1/4 tspcrushed red pepper
How To Make pickled bologna

1Bring the vinegar,water, and pickling spice to a boil, boil for 5 min.

2Let cool, then pour over bologna ring.

3Refrigerate for 5 days before devouring.

4Serve with crackers, or mini cocktail slices of rye or pumpernickle bread and of course grainey mustard.
