Ingredients For my sister betty's homemade sausage

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    liquid smoke (very necessary)
  • 1 Tbsp
    mustard seed
  • 2 Tbsp
    morton tender quick salt (this brand only)
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3/4 c
    water

How To Make my sister betty's homemade sausage

    Mix and make into rolls 1 1/2 x 5 inches. Wrap in foil and refrigerate 24 hours.

    Bake 1 hour @ 330 degrees in open pan still wrapped in foil (use pan with sides). Cool a little.

    Unwrap and drain off all accumulated water and fat. Rewrap in clean foil and refrigerate.
