Ingredients For make ahead meatballs

  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • SAUCE
  • 3 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 c
    orange marmalade
  • 4 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 clove
    garlic grated
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice

How To Make make ahead meatballs

    In large bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Crumble beef over all and mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls.

    Place meatballs on greased racks in shallow baking pans. Bake at 400 for 10 - 15 minutes or until no longer pink, turning often. Drain. Cool, then freeze or serve while hot with sauce below.

    Sauce: In a sauce pan, combine sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 minutes until thickened. Pour over meatballs and serve with toothpicks.
