Ingredients For jiffy porcupines

  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 2/3 c
    quick cooking rice, (minute rice)
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 can
    (8 oz. each) hunt's tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    water

How To Make jiffy porcupines

  • 1
    Mix beef, rice(uncooked), onion, seasonings. Form into 1-inch meatballs. Brown lightly on all sides in oil in a 10 inch skillet; drain fat. Add tomato sauce and water combined. Mix well. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes.
