ham & pistachio roll-ups
These roll-ups go great on a buffet table, as nibbles at a cocktail party, or even as an evening snack. I first tasted these at a charity fundraiser and liked them so much that I actually unrolled one (discreetly) to ascertain all it contained. With a little experimentation, mine tastes as good as theirs! It has the savory and salty flavor of the ham, the crunch from nuts, the freshness of the celery, and the slight sweetness of the cream cheese. Can be doubled, tripled, etc.

We loved these simple ham roll-ups. The cream cheese filling is held together with heavy cream and cream cheese mixed with crab and pistachios. It almost has a sweet flavor and is the perfect contrast with the savory ham. The filling adds tons of flavor and gives the roll-ups a little texture. A delicious bite-size appetizer that can be dressed up on a nice platter or served as a snack on a paper plate. We're hooked!
Ingredients For ham & pistachio roll-ups

4 slicethin, good quality cold-boiled ham slices (large pieces)

2 Tbspcrab meat

1 pkgcream cheese, 3 oz.

1/2 - 3/4 cfinely chopped pistachio or walnut meats

1 Tbspheavy cream

2 Tbspfinely chopped celery
How To Make ham & pistachio roll-ups

1Place the cream cheese in a bowl along with one tablespoon of heavy cream. Mix until creamy.

2Add the crab meat, celery, and nuts all finely chopped.

3Mix.

4Lay ham out flat. Spread each slice with 3 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture.

5Roll ham into a spiral.

6Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve.

7Cut each ham roll into 4 - 5 pieces. Enjoy!
