ham & egg balls- appetizers

These appetizers were served at a 40th anniversary party that I attended last week. They were so good! Naturally I begged for the recipe...They are to die for. Chopped hard-boiled eggs, A little bit of ham, then rolled in chopped pecans are a delightful taste treat.! A welcome surprise from the usual deviled eggs.. Six hard boiled eggs will make 24 appetizer ham egg balls.

Ingredients For ham & egg balls- appetizers

  • 6
    hard- boiled eggs
  • 1 tsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1/2 c
    ham, finely chopped
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • chopped pecans, & salt & pepper
  • almonds.

How To Make ham & egg balls- appetizers

  • 1
    Finely mince or chop hard-boiled eggs. Add parsley, onion,ham and mayonnaise, mixing well. Shape into 24 balls. Roll in chopped pecans. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve..with almonds on the serving plate to snack on. Listen for the rave reviews!!! 5-1-12
