Living in Scotland, these were options for 3 recipes basically with the same starting recipe. They are all equally good, and I have listed them here so please enjoy! You have Ham & Chutney Spread, and Cheese Frosted Chutney Ham Ball

Ingredients For ham and chutney pastries

2 cflour

1/2 tspcurry powder

1/4 tspsalt

3/4 cshortening

2 Tbspcold water

1/2recipe ham & chutney spread

1 ptmilk
How To Make ham and chutney pastries

1Combine flour, curry powder and salt in a bowl. Add shortening until pieces are the size of small peas. Sprinkle 1 T water over part of the mixture, toss with a fork. Push to side of bowl. Repeat until all moistened. Roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness onl ightly floured surface. Using a 3 inch round cutter cut into 32 rounds. Reroll scraps as necessary, brush edges with milk. Spoon a rounded teaspoon of spread into each round. Fold in halves to cover. Seal edges with the tines of a fork. Prick top with fork. Brush with milk. Bake a single layer at a time at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden.
