These are wonderful as a main dish or can be used as appetizers. My family and I are avid deer hunters and are fortunate enough to have these often for dinner.

Ingredients For deer pinwheels

1deer tenderloin

8 ozcream cheese, low-fat

4 Tbspcajun seasoning

1 pkgbacon, uncooked
How To Make deer pinwheels

1slice tenderloin 4 inch long and 1 inch wide strips (to make a pinwheel).

2Spread cream cheese on strips and roll in to pinwheels.

3Wrap each pinwheel in 1 strip of bacon, tightly.

4Roll wrapped pinwheels in cajun seasoning.

5Place on a cookie sheet in preheated oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

6After baking, drain off oil and broil pinwheels on low, browning bacon on both sides.
