    chicken wings patted dry
  • 1/4 tsp
    each white pepper and garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    shaoxing wine
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • oil for frying
  • sriracha mayo for serving

How To Make chinese take out chicken wings

    Mix the ingredients for batter together. Add the chicken wings and let marinate at room temp for 2 hours or overnight in fridge. If the batter is too runny add more cornstarch or flour. The wings need to be coated with a thin coating.

    Fry the wings in hot oil of 350 degrees in batches of 5 for 5 minutes. Once all the wings have fried. Fry them again for 3 minutes. Serve with Sriracha Mayo
