12 slice(12oz) applewood-smoked bacon

1/2 cpacket light brown sugar

1/4-1/2 tspground red pepper
How To Make caramelized bacon

1Preheat oven to 375. Line 15"x10" jelly roll pan with heavy-duty foil. Spray wire rack with non-stick spray;place in prepared pan.

2Cut bacon in half crosswise;arrange in single layer on a prepared wire rack. Combine sugar,water,and red pepper in a small bowl;mix well. Brush generously over surface of bacon.

3Bake 20-25 minutes or until bacon is dark brown. Immediately transfer to serving platter;cool completely.
