Ingredients For bonnie's simple old-fashioned meatballs
-
1 lblean ground beef
-
1/3 cfinely chopped sweet onion
-
1egg, slightly beaten
-
1/4 ccanned milk
-
1/2 cdry breadcrumbs
-
1 tspWorcestershire sauce
-
1 tspkosher salt
-
1 tspcoarse ground black pepper
How To Make bonnie's simple old-fashioned meatballs
-
1Don't overmix the meatballs or they will be tough. Mix the meat with the onions,
-
2beaten egg,
-
3canned milk,
-
4breadcrumbs, and then add the Worcestershire and seasonings.
-
5Form the balls. I use a small scoop. Don't pack the meat in the scoop. Keep the meat loose as you form the ball. This makes tender balls when they cook.
-
6Cook the balls on a greased sheet pan lined with foil. Bake in a 375 degree F oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Don't over cook or over brown the meatballs.
