  • DIPPING SAUCE
  • 4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced

    bay leaves
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme
  • chives, for serving
  • lime wedges, for serving

How To Make birria wings with dipping sauce

    Mix the ingredients for the marinade together. Season the wings with salt and pepper. Place wings in marinade and let marinate 4 to 6 hours.

    Add all the ingredients for the dipping sauce in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer 20 minutes until reduced. Strain and discard solids.

    Preheat oven 400 degrees F. Place the wings on a baking sheet and brush with the marinade. Bake for 30 minutes, turning once.
