This is a delicious dish to serve at parties and the Christmas holidays. My Mother gave my sister in law and I this one, it is very low in calories, but it is a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients For creamy pineapple dip

  • 1 lb
    low fat cottage cheese
  • 8 oz
    crushed pineapple in juice
  • 8 oz
    plain, low-fat yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    pure rum flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped walnuts

How To Make creamy pineapple dip

  • 1
    Place cottage cheese in container or blender, or food processor; blend until smooth, scraping down sides of container. Pour into a medium bowl.

    Drain pineapple in sieve, pressing out as much liquid as possible. Add pineapple to cottage cheese, along with yogurt, ginger, and rum flavoring; mix well.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve with your favorite cracker, sprinkled with nuts.
