Ingredients For banana 'blitz' crispers

    pita rounds
  • 4 tsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • caramel sauce, for topping
  • 1 c
    strawberries, sliced
  • 1
    banana, sliced
  • 1 c
    pineapple, chopped
  • chocolate syrup, for topping
  • whipped cream, for topping
  • maraschino cherries with stems, for topping
  • walnuts, chopped, for topping

How To Make banana 'blitz' crispers

    Preheat oven to 400.
  • 2
    Cut each pita into eight wedges. In a bowl mix together sugar and cinnamon.

    Brush both sides of pita wedges with melted butter and sprinkle both sides of pita wedges with sugar mixture. Place on a greased baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15 minutes or until wedges are crispy.

    Arrange cooled pita wedges on a serving plate. Top with caramel sauce, strawberries, banana slices, pineapple, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, cherries and nuts.
