I have been making these for years. My husband is a bigger onion fan than I am, so he eats the majority! I will sometimes substitute green or sweet onions for the regular onion, just for a change. They are good any way, and can be tweaked to your own taste. A good old standby recipe!

1/2 cfinely chopped onion

1/3 cbutter, softened

6crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled

2 Tbspfresh parsley, chopped

2 canrefrigerated crescent rolls
How To Make yummy & buttery onion bacon pinwheels

1Pre-heat oven to 375º.

2Combine onion, butter, bacon and parsley; mix well.

3Separate dough into eight rectangles; firmly press perforations to seal.

4Spread butter mixture over dough. Roll up each rectangle, starting at short end; cut into four slices.

5Place on ungreased cookie sheet, cut side down; flatten slightly. Bake at 375º 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
