Years ago I attended a very nice party & was served a delicious cheese ball. When I asked the hostess for the recipe - I soon realized I had made a gaff! So... I decided I would create something close. It sounds crazy but I have made it for years and everyone loves it. Besides, it is quick & easy.

Ingredients For very easy cheese ball
-
2 80z pkgCream Cheese, reg, low-fat, or fat-free
-
16-oz bottleWishbone Zesty Italian Salad Dressing
-
1 cChopped pecans, toasted
-
2 TbspDried Parsley
How To Make very easy cheese ball
-
1Drain the bottle of Wishbone through a sieve. Reserve all the bits of seasoning in the sieve and return the liquid to the bottle & save for salads or meat marinade. Beat the Cream Cheese and the bits from the sieve until thouroughly blended. On large piece of waxed paper on top of sheet of foil, scatter pecans & parsley then pile the cream cheese mixture. With edges of waxed paper coax the cheese into a ball, covered with pecans. Shape and wrap the waxed paper and foil around it. Place into a small bowl(to help keep its shape) and refrigerate at least overnight, preferably 2 days so the flavors can blend. After 12 hours you may want to reshape the ball - I usually unwrap it to redistribute the nut coating. Serve with fancy crackers, sit back and accept the compliments!
