sweet & salty chèvre with raw honey
We had some friends from Washington, D.C. who came out to visit our small hobby farm near Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. I wanted their visit to be special on every level... from the beauty around them, to the flavors of country-fresh. My goal was to impress them with a very special meal that included interesting and delicious appetizers. I ran across some recipes using goat cheese, and I combined a few of the ideas to make this delicious sweet and salty combination. Everyone loved it!
