My hubby loves melted cheese, and I was trying to come up with new ways of giving him "his fix", and this is one we both love very much.

Ingredients For stuffed bread

  • 1 c
    grated cheese. i prefer a mix of cheddar, jarlsberg and parmasan, but you pick your favorites.
  • 1/2 c
    chopped ham
  • 5 Tbsp
    sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • 5 Tbsp
    spring onions, chopped
  • 1
    loaf of bread
  • italian seasoning to taste

How To Make stuffed bread

  • 1
    Cut the top of the loaf, and dig out as much as possible of the loaf without breaking the crust. Save 1/3 of the bread, the rest you can save for other cooking projects, or give it to the birds ;o)

    Crumble the bread in a bowl, and mix it together with the cheese, ham, tomatoes, spring onions and seasoning.

    Stuff the mix back into the loaf.

    Bake the loaf at 350 F / 180 C, for about 20 minutes. Enjoy :o)
